Eden Hazard wins the Player's player of the year
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard was named the PFA Players Player of the Year 2015. He has guided the champions elect to within 6 points of winning the league with some scintillating performances along the way.
Hazard, 24, has had an incredible season for the London club, scoring 18 goals in all competitions with 13 of them coming in the league. Along with the goals scored he has contributed a further 8 assists and has created 87 chances in the league alone.
The brilliant Belgian won the young player of the year last year and will add this latest award to the two player of the year awards he won while playing for Lille in Ligue 1.
Jose Mourinho has said he (Hazard) is one of the three best players in the world and Hazard has definitely proved his worth to his manager by performances on the field.
Kane wins young player of the year
Winning the young player of the year on Hazard’s expense was the sensation of this season’s Premier League, Harry Kane.
Kane, 21, who was thrown into the first team due to lack of form shown by other players at White Hart Lane, has taken his chance with both hands and made the position his own. He has scored 30 goals in 47 appearances, out of which 20 have come in the premier league, 15 since the turn of the year.
Kane, who is just one goal behind Sergio Aguero, the leading scorer in the league, might also pick up the golden boot come the end of the season.
