Rumour: Edison Cavani to leave PSG in the summer

Chelsea and Manchester United have been handed a major boost in the summer transfer plans, with a prominent FIFA agent claiming that Edinson Cavani wants to leave Paris St Germain in the summer, The Metro report.
Cavani only joined the Parisian outfit in the summer after signing from Napoli for a fee in the region of £52million, but it appears he has failed to settle in the French capital.
Francois Gallardo, a close friend of Cavani and renowned FIFA agent has confirmed that the Uruguayan is eyeing up the exit at Parc de Princes in the summer and would welcome moves to the Premier League or La Liga, with Real Madrid also credited with an interest in the striker.
Gallardo told reporters, “There is a player of the squad at PSG who is not comfortable and wants to leave called Cavani.
“If clubs want to sign him – it would soon be time to make a move.”
Manchester United have reportedly put Cavani towards the top of their list as they aim to rebuild their squad again next season, while Chelsea have made it clear that they will be looking for a world class striker to be the missing piece in their jigsaw for next season.
The only sticking point for the pair is that Cavani signed a long term deal with PSG upon signing in the summer and the club would be looking to recoup most of their outlay on the talented marksman.
Edinson Cavani has scored 13 goals in 21 appearances for Paris St Germain this season, recording a conversion rate of 23.6%.
