Elabdellaoui believes Hull can get rare win at Everton
REUTERS - Hull City's 2-1 win over Swansea City in the Premier League last weekend has given the relegation-threatened team a confidence boost ahead of Saturday's tough trip to seventh-placed Everton, on-loan defender Omar Elabdellaoui said.
Eighteenth-placed Hull ended a run of three games without a win against Swansea to keep their hopes of escaping the drop alive but Everton have lost only one game at Goodison Park this season.
"We weren't happy with the couple of results before we played against Swansea last weekend, but we went out there with the belief that we could get a big result and we achieved that," Elabdellaoui told the club's website.(www.hullcitytigers.com)
Hull have won three and drawn two of eight league games under new manager Marco Silva, including an impressive 1-1 draw at Manchester United and a 2-0 win over Liverpool, but have won just once on the road all season.
"Of course we are going to be in for a very tough game at Everton," the 25-year-old added.
"They are a good side in good form, especially at home, so it will be a big challenge for us. But our confidence is good and I feel that the confidence and belief has always been there."
History is not on Hull's side. In nine trips to Goodison Park stretching back to 1927, Hull have only won once, in the old Division Two back in 1952.
