Emanuelson joins Fulham on loan

Fulham confirmed on their official website that they have agreed to a deal with AC Milan for Dutchman Urby Emanuelson on a loan deal until the end of the 2012/13 season.

The versatile 26-year-old is a product of the much acclaimed Ajax youth academy and is capable of playing anywhere on the left side of the field, whether it be as a winger or a full back.

Emanuelson had earlier worked with current Fulham manager Martin Jol during his time at Ajax and moved on to Milan in 2011, where he won the Serie A with the Rossoneri in his first season there. Emanuelson already has 16 international caps to his name following his debut against the Republic of Ireland in 2006.
