EPL 2016/17: Adam Lallana is the one making Liverpool tick says Ian Wright
Arsenal legend and former Premier League winner Ian Wright claims Liverpool’s fantastic start to this campaign is down to many positives but the one that makes the system tick is attacking midfielder, Adam Lallana.
Ahead of England’s encounter against Scotland at Wembley tomorrow, where Lallana is set to feature for the Three Lions, Ian Wright heaped praise on the former Southampton captain for his spectacular display thus far this season. The former Arsenal legend believes that Lallana has operated fantastically in all positions, whether on the wing or in a slightly central midfield position playing behind the front three of Mane, Coutinho. and Firmino.

"Adam Lallana is a major cog in the whole engine of Liverpool right now, the real driving force," Wright told The Sun.
"He's stepped up; he's creating, and he's scoring.He seems to be a lot more confident, and he's scoring goals. Liverpool fans I speak to are delighted with the way he's playing.”
Klopp’s high press strategy has reaped rewards for the club as they currently sit at the top of the Premier League standings, a point off Chelsea in second.
Wright has also sung praise for the Liverpool squad and the manager for their terrific start singling out the Englishman Lallana as the key element to what the club is trying to achieve this season and end their 27-year wait for a Premier League crown.
The Liverpool manager uses a 4-3-3 formation, where Lallana has fit in perfectly, notching up three goals so far and creating a few assists for the team.
The Englishman claims he is enjoying life under the German manager who has revitalised the club in his short spell at Anfield, with Liverpool supporters feeling more hopeful than ever before, “Whatever he has done different to me, I think he has done to everyone. It isn’t just myself. As a team we are performing to a high level,” said the former Southampton player.
Lallana continued and said, “I am enjoying working with him, I feel I have really good relationship with him and that he trusts me.”

The intensity of the press in all areas of the field, a tactic used by the German manager has proved vital in the early success of the work being put in at the club.
Liverpool and Lallana next head to Southampton post the international break to restart their quest to challenge for the Premier League crown.
