EPL: Week 7 predictions
To say that the Premier League has gotten off to a wild start would be an understatement. The mighty Manchester teams have fallen to the likes of West brom and Aston Villa. Arsenal is at the top of the table and Everton is the only team which is unbeaten at the moment.
This week is a crucial one for all of the above mentioned teams. All of them have played 6 games and therefore, have had enough time to figure out their strengths and weaknesses. With the quarter mark of the season coming up soon, every team will be trying to get into the groove.
Following are my predictions for Week 7 of the EPL.
Game of the week: Manchester City Vs. Everton
Prediction: 2-1
The only unbeaten team in the league right now is fourth placed Everton. And their record will probably be broken at The Etihad Stadium this weekend.
This Everton side is definitely talented enough to win this side. Romelu Lukaku is coming off a brace last weekend. Kevin Mirallas, Leighton Baines, Ross Barkley have all been stellar so far and Gareth Barry has really stitched the midfield together. This is an excellent side and they will put up a strong fight against the inconsistent City.
While City is inconsistent, at home, they remain extremely dominant. They are 3 for 3 in their home games in this season. Also, City are definitely more talented with the likes of Yaya Toure, David Silva and Sergio Aguero back in action. This will definitely be a game to look out for, but City will come away with a 2-1 win.
