Euro 2016: Puma unveil stunning new away kits
The Euros are only four months away and Puma have already released the kits to be worn by the teams they are sponsoring for the tournament. They had launched the Italian kit in September last year and have now revealed the away kits for four countries- Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The jerseys will be showcased in the tournament when the teams kick off in France. The shirts are embedded with PUMA’s new technology called the ACTV Thermo-r. This feature is inserted into the shirt material and enables players to keep up their desired body temperature
The kit also consists of inner tape that helps absorb excess heat as well provides a comfortable fit for effective energy supply to the active muscles.
Let’s take a look at each kit:
Austria
Austria’s strip is a dominant white colour which consists of a V-neck collar. The kit also features stripe panels that are sewn into the sleeves and sleeve cuffs of the jersey. The Austrian badge is placed on the left-hand side of the Jersey with Puma’s symbol on the right. Austria's kit is comprised of a white shirt, black shorts, and white socks.
Czech Republic
The kit has kept the traditional white of previous shirts with white with blue sleek panels extending from the collar to the end of the sleeve. The same stripes are continued down the sides of the shorts to create an elegant appearance.
The Puma Logo is located on the left of the T-Shirt whereas the badge is on the right. The red colour of the logo helps give a subtle contrast to the white and blue outfit.
Slovakia
The Slovakia jersey is a clear and slightly deep blue colour that makes for a sleek and uniform appearance. It also consists of a lighter blue panel that runs between the neck all the way down to the shorts. The collar is a modern crew neck style and gives the shirt a unique feel.
The Slovak badge known as the ‘Coat of Arms’ is embroidered on top of the heart, the idea being to display the passion of Slovakia for the game. The Slovakian federations’ logo is on the right-hand side with the Puma logo right at the centre of the two symbols.
Switzerland
The Switzerland jersey has a new unique design that is different to their traditional outfits from previous years. The shirt has the white Swiss cross at the center of a red colored band that spreads horizontally across. Below that there are a string of red panels whose thickness reduces as we move down the shirt.
The collar is a V-neck shape with a short red panel on the ends of both sleeves. The symbol of the Swiss FA is placed on the left-hand side above the heart with the Puma symbol on the right.
