Euro 2016: Twitter reacts as France qualify for the Finals
Hosts of the tournament France took on Germany in the second semi-final of the UEFA Euro 2016. Portugal’s opponents for the finals were revealed as France beat defending World Champions Germany 2-0 thanks to Antoine Griezmann’s goals on either side of the Half-time whistle. While Germany dominated a majority of the first half, France took the lead after they were awarded a controversial penalty. This was followed by Paul Pogba’s mesmerising footwork in creating the chance that lead to Griezmann’s second of the night.
Football fans around the world have taken to social media to react to the game and here are the best tweets from the clash.
