European loyalty XI
Loyalty in football has recently became a thing of past. With Robin Van Persie leaving Arsenal for Manchester United and Fernando Torres doing the same to Liverpool for Chelsea among many other such instances, we can say that loyalty is diminishing fast in football. However, there are some players who prove that loyalty still exists in football:

He has been playing with Real Madrid since he was 16, and is sure to see out the rest of his career at the Bernabeu.

Carles Puyol (FC Barcelona)
He has been playing with Bacelona since 1995, and has been chased by almost every top team in his long 17-year old career.

He has been playing at Manchester United since 1991, and even came out of retirement to play for the club. His career spans 22 long years.
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
He is the best Liverpool midfielder and an epitome of loyalty in the Premier League. He started playing for Liverpool in the year 1987. (25 years)

He himself is one of the best, and with Xavi can completely destroy any team. He has been with Barcelona since 1996. (16 years)
Forwards -
Francesco Totti ( A.S. Roma )
He is the one of the most versatile forwards in Italy despite reaching the ripe age of 36. He joined Roma in the year of 1989, and wants to end his career there. (23 years)
Ryan Giggs (Manchester United)
He has played over 900 matches since joining Manchester United in 1987. There is nothing more that needs to be said.
These men prove that loyalty still exists in football.
