European Round-up: Real Madrid, Juventus, PSG, Bayern win; Napoli, AC Milan settle for draws
Quite a few important fixtures were played last night across Europe. Here are the details of the action that took place .
La Liga
Real Madrid’s away fixture against Elche proved to be a tricky one and was filled with drama till the fag end of the game. It was Cristiano Ronaldo who yet again scored from a sublime free-kick in the 51st minute and a signature penalty 6 minutes into stoppage time as the final scoreline read Real Madrid 2-1 Elche. Richmond Bokaye scored the solitary goal for Elche.
In the other matches that were played in Spain, Sevilla thumped Rayo 4-1 where both Ivan Rakitic and Carlos Bacca scored a brace each. Also,Valencia scored in the dying seconds of the match and secured all 3 points, beating Granada 1-0, and Jonas scoring for Valencia 4 minutes into stoppage time .

AS Roma extended their winning streak and retained the top slot in the table with a comfortable 2-0 over Sampdoria. New signing from Arsenal, Gervinho and centre back Mehdi Benatia scored for Roma.
Meanwhile, Juventus scraped past Chievo with a narrow 2-1 victory where a goal from Fabio Quagliarella and an own goal from Alessandro Bernardini ensured that Juventus received all 3 points. Cyril Thereau scored the only goal for Chievo.
AC Milan were held to a 3-3 draw against Bologna. This point made AC Milan drop to a staggering 12th place. Late goals from Ignazio Abate and Robinho saved the day for AC Milan. At half-time, the score was level at 1-1, and quick goals from Diego Laxalt and Jonathan Cristaldo gave Bologna a 3-1 lead during the third quarter. But a fighting AC Milan weren’t finished yet and managed to earn a point .
Napoli could only earn 1 point against a non-fancied Sassuolo. Blerim Dzemaili scored for Napoli and Simone Zaza scored for Sassuolo, with both the goals coming in the first quarter of the match.
