Italy v Romania - International Friendly
Conte will be furious not to get the win in a match Chelsea dominated

Here we take a look at the 5 key talking points from the match.

#5: Tie Hazard down to a new contract

Chelsea v Manchester City - Premier League

Let's start with the obvious, it is a joy to watch Hazard play. He was full of tricks throughout the match, leaving Everton defenders stranded in his wake.

The number of times he just dropped his shoulder and beat his man was too high and he made some really magical individual runs from deep, despite playing as the central false 9.

As is the case with Hazard, there were periods in the match where he was anonymous but that can be forgiven due to the packed festive schedule. He is quite possibly the most skillful player to watch in the English top flight and all Premier League fans will be hoping he signs the contract extension to keep him at Chelsea beyond the 2 and half years he currently has left.
