Everton
Howard (58): Kept a clean sheet and made several saves to help earn him the Squawka man of the match award.
Coleman (12): Involved in both of the game’s big talking points, Coleman could have given away a penalty for a first half challenge on Jan Vertonghen before tangling with the same player in the opposition box.
Baines (15): Typically attacking, Baines attempted 11 crosses over the course of the game
Barry (25): Made four clearances from his defensive midfield role, three of which came in a first half that Tottenham dominated.

Chiriches (26): Impressed at centre back, particularly with an excellent last ditch covering tackle on Lukaku in the second half.
Townsend (49): Outshining Aaron Lennon on the other wing, Townsend completed four successful take ons and at one point had made more than the entire Everton team combined.
Sandro (16): Came off with an injury problem to be replaced by Dembele, but was solid prior to his exit.
Soldado (-19): Dealt with robustly by Distin and Jagielka, Soldado cut a frustrated figure and looked a shadow of the man Spurs broke their transfer record to sign.
Holtby (36): Clearly relishing the opportunity to play at the club he supported in his youth Holtby attempted to get involved in everything, as shown by his heat map below.
Lennon (-3): Was quiet from the left and only attempting one take on, which proved unsuccessful.
