Everton on the hunt for a new stadium

Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright in a press conference at Goodison Park on June 5, 2013

Everton are looking to build a stadium near Goodison Park in Liverpool. Everton chairman Bill Kenwright hasn’t ruled out the possibility of sharing a stadium with Liverpool, but it looks like he is keen on developing a ground in a site near the Goodison Park. The club has also revealed that they have been in constant touch with the Liverpool city council.

Kenwright said:

“We have identified a site close to Goodison and we have a [Liverpool] council at the moment who are extremely positive in their desire to help us. If we take forward what we’re looking at now, I think you would be happier than sharing with the Reds.”
