Everton makes disappointed supporter's day after match is called off
Ric Wee, an Everton supporter from Malaysia was at the Goodison Park yesterday after travelling 7,000 miles to witness the Toffees play against Crystal Palace for the first time in his life.

However, the match was called off due to bad weather as the stadium was taking damage from the high winds in the Merseyside area. Wee was disappointed, but not disheartened as he tweeted that his dream to watch the team he had been supporting since the past 30 years will be on hold.

The club’s management took notice of the situation, and made sure that their supporter wasn’t going home sad. They tracked him down in one of the stadium’s seating lounges and brought him back to the team’s dressing room to meet manager Roberto Martinez and Leighton Baines. What a story!
Our Malaysian friend meets Roberto & Baines. Happy we’ve been able to put a smile on @ric_wee‘s face. pic.twitter.com/OjKFFOU72r
