Fabio Capello feels Barcelona's "trident" of Messi, Neymar and Suarez are "dead"
Renowned Italian coach Fabio Capello has said FC Barcelona's attacking "trident" Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are "dead" now after "a great season."
The former coach of AC Milan, Juventus and Roma made his remarks at the Laureus World Sports awards here on Monday, reports Efe.
Capello said he was a commentator on the Barcelona-Atletico Madrid Champions League quarter-final match and watched from close how the famous attacking trio was fatigued.
He added Messi is "a great player" and the best in the world, but the Argentine star was always criticised when the Catalan club loses.

Capello, 69, explained that the "trident" played many matches with their national teams, so they are now "dead."
He added that Barcelona needed an influential captain like Carles Puyol, who won 21 titles with the club.
Barcelona were eliminated from the Champions League quarter-finals 3-2 by Atletico.
They have lost three consecutive matches in La Liga to squander a nine-point gap at the top of the standings.
