Fantasy Premier League 2016-17: 5 Players to pick for Gameweek 14
An exciting London Derby was what all neutrals wanted and Chelsea ensured that it happened. The Blues went a goal down early on in the game but came back strong with Victor Moses hitting the winner. Chelsea ended Tottenham’s unbeaten streak and maintained their stay on the top of the table.
Arsenal struggled but ultimately won a hard fought battle against Bournemouth as they beat the Cherries 3-1 with a brace from Alexis Sanchez. Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have been unable to come out of their unlucky form as their match against West Ham United ended in a draw. Mourinho now has fewer points than his predecessors Louis van Gaal and David Moyes at the same stage in the league during their respective tenures.
This gameweek features the two tacticians, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte going up against each other as Manchester City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. Let’s hope that the fixture lives up to our expectations and proves to be a cracker of a match.
Arsenal will not want to lose sight of the leading pack and will put in their best as they face London rivals West Ham United. Elsewhere, Liverpool who lost key player Coutinho will hope that they do not breakdown in the absence of their midfield wizard.
Here are 5 players we believe could do well in the coming Gameweek 14:
#5 Harry Kane
Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane is now completely match-fit, having started all 3 previous league matches. The player has scored thrice after coming back and looks a promising pick when you look at the run of fixtures Spurs have.
The Englishman also takes penalties for the club, which is a huge supplement to his otherwise open play goal scoring abilities.Kane had a decent outing against Chelsea and even scored once, only for the goal to be ruled offside. Spurs play their next game at White Hart Lane against Swansea City, who conceded 4 goals in their last match against Palace.
Swansea City have shown defensive vulnerability in the air, and the London club can exploit their weakness.
Next 3 fixtures: Swansea(H), Man Utd(A), Hull City (H)
