Jose Goncalves: The Portuguese has been the best of a bad bunch of NorthEast United’s defense. The experienced defender has also been a threat on the set pieces due to his big frame. He has made the most passes by a NorthEast United defender so far.
Midfielders
Vineeth: After failing to score in his first 3 matches Vineeth has now scored 4 goals out of the 7 matches. With NorthEast United’s defense struggling, Vineeth is a must pick for your fantasy teams.
Courage Pekuson: Courage has arguably been the best player for Kerala Blasters. The 23-year old has impressed with his energy, versatility and all-around play. The Ghanian has been involved in most of Kerala’s good work going forward assisting 5 goals, the most by a Kerala player. He has also attempted 27 shots so far, the most by a Kerala player.
Jackichand Singh: Jackichand has blown hot and cold but the former Mumbai City FC winger is a threat with his pace and shooting. The 25-year old has created numerous opportunities for his teammates and is one of Kerala Blasters most important players.
Marcinho: Marcinho has impressed with his ability to skip away from opposition challenges and his ability to dictate play. He is arguably the only player blameless for NorthEast United’s underwhelming campaign so far. The Brazilian is also NorthEast United’s joint top scorer with 4 goals.
Forwards
Danilo: The Brazilian forward has struggled so far managing just 1 goal so far but has shown signs of showing his best form providing 2 assists in the last few matches. With Kerala Blasters defense struggling Danilo can profit.
Baldvinsson: The 32-year old opened the scoring for Kerala Blasters against ATK with a well-taken header. The well-built forward created 4 chances in the match highlighting his creative instincts. Baldvinsson has contributed with a goal and an assist each in less than 180 minutes so far.
