FC Goa sign Brazil's Victor Simões for ISL - Season 2!

Indian Super League franchise FC Goa coached by legendary Zico have signed Brazilian striker Victor Simões de Oliveira for the second edition of the ISL.

34 year old Rio de Janeiro-born Victor Simões joins the Goa team which is co-owned by Dattaraj Salgaocar, Shrinivas Dempo, Venugopal Dhoot and Virat Kohli with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan as brand ambassador.

Victor Simões started his career with Rio giants Flamengo as a junior and then went on to play for their senior team, but soon left for smaller side Tombense FC. A year later he left for Belgium to play for Germinal Beerschot and then Club Brugge. He returned to Brazil to play for Figueirense FC, then joined South Korea's Chunnam Dragons and again returned to Brazil to play for Botafogo.

Victor Simões had his most successful spell with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli Jeddah, where he scored 43 goals in 58 matches. Thereafter he went to Qatar Stars League side Umm Salal SC and now joins FC Goa.
