Fellaini denies talks with Moyes about transfer to Man Utd

Everton star Marouane Fellaini’s transfer talks have been doing the rounds for some time now. He has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, the club that David Moyes has been running since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

But now, the Belgium international has gone on record to insist that there have been no particular talks about his move to join United with Moyes.

“He got a good offer and I understood why he accepted it,” said Fellaini. “But he never told me he planned to take me to United. Rumours are part of football and I take them with a pinch of salt.”

The 25 year old believes that he is meant to play out his days in Everton.

“We’re talking about one of the biggest clubs in England, the framework is in place and the manager’s departure doesn’t change anything,” he said. “I do miss playing in the Champions League but we deserved to win a place in it this year.”
