FIFA 17: Predicted player ratings for West Ham
The latest edition of our favourite football game, FIFA 17, is set to release in less than a month. FIFA 17 is one of the most anticipated games in the world, and the much-awaited game is coming out on multiple gaming platforms.
The game includes cool features like The Journey, which sees a young rookie live out his dream of playing in EPL, and the new Frostbite engine, which was previously used by EA Dice in Battlefield.
FIFA has also upgrade set-piece routines, and AI players will make more intelligent runs. Marco Reus is FIFA 17’s cover star.
West Ham United had one of their best seasons’s in Premier League, and were realistically in for a Champions League spot, battling it out with the two heavyweights from Manchester. However, the Hammers faltered near the end of the season and finished 7th in the league table.
The Hammers have an exceptional manager in Slaven Bilic, and with a talented squad, West Ham will aim for a higher finish this time around.
Let’s take a look at West Ham’s predicted player ratings:
#1 Goalkeepers and defenders
Adrian: 78 → 79
The Spaniard has been good in goal for West Ham and played an important part in West Ham’s surprise battle for Champions League football. However, he was shaky at the end, and West Ham ended 7th in the table.
Adrian should get a +1 for good performances for most of the 2015-16 season.
Darren Randolph: 72 → 74
Randolph did not feature in too many games last season, but he was excellent for the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2016. He kept 4 clean sheets in Ireland’s unexpected run to the round of 16. Good performances for his country should see him get a +2 bump in ratings.
Michail Antonio: 74 → 78
The pacey full-back/winger featured 26 times for West Ham last season, and also spent some time on loan at Nottingham Forest. Slaven Bilic’s trust in the player paid off, as he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists in EPL 2015-16.
Antonio is solid at the back, and really threatening on attacks, which should see him get a +4 increase.
Winston Reid: 78 → 80
Reid’s been a rock at the heart of West Ham’s defence. The man from New Zealand is solid at the back and has good aerial abilities. The centre-back should get an 80 after a winter upgrade t 79.
Angelo Ogbonna: 79 → 79
Reid’s central defense partner, Ogbonna was decent last season. He is physically very strong and reads the game well. Ogbonna progressed through the season but is unlikely to get an increase.
Aaron Cresswell: 73 → 76
Cresswell is one of the most consistent West Ham players in the past few seasons. He was underrated in FIFA 16 for a player with such immense talent. He is knocking on the doors of England national team as well, and should get a minimum rating of 76.
Sam Byram: 71 → 72
The Englishman recently arrived from Leeds in the January transfer window and didn’t feature much following his suspension.
He made only 3 appearances, two from the bench. Byram lost his place to Antonio at right-back, but good performances in the Championship should see him get a +1 increase.
