Five records Neymar has yet to break.
On 3rd August 2017, the football world saw the transfer record being broken for the second time in the decade.
Neymar, after playing four seasons for Barcelona, decided to switch his allegiance to Paris Saint Germain in a whopping €222 million deal. An outrageous amount paid for a single player!
The Brazilian is widely regarded as the best player in the world, after heavyweights Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He has already been tipped by many to break Messi and Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or winning streak, which has continued since 2008.
Neymar is widely known for his efficient dribbling skills. The Brazilian occupies the left wing in a 4-3-3 formation.
His intense energy and good vision enable him to drift inside and score goals as well as create opportunities for teammates. He is regarded as a true phenomenon.
Yet, the Selecao captain has a lot to prove after his world record move to the Parisians.
Playing in the shadow of Lionel Messi has been cited as one of the main reasons why Neymar decided to part ways with the Catalans.
However, it is mandatory for him to chisel out top-quality performances week in week out.
And, while he gives his best for the Parisians, Neymar might as well pay attention to gain a few records under his belt.
Here, we will see the top five records Neymar can and yet has to break for both club and country.
#5: Top scorer in a single season in Ligue 1
It would be a dream debut season for Neymar if he is able to break this Ligue 1 record held by a player for the last 46 years.
The Ligue 1 record for most goals scored in a single Ligue 1 season, is held by Josip Skoblar, who hit 44 for Marseille in 1970-71 season.
The Selecao captain has already dazzled in his six games for PSG, scoring 5 goals and assisting 5 another.
With Neymar already on the road to stamping his authority, this record could be first of the many records he can break in his career.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 38 goals in a season, which is a club record.
But, the current Manchester United forward could see it broken if Neymar does go after Skoblar's record. That would mean two targets in one shot.
As far as the French Ligue is concerned, it certainly isn't on par with the Premier League or La Liga.
The league seems much easier to play in, with less competition available.
Also, the world-class talent at the Parc Des Princes could as well help Neymar in breaking this record faster than we can imagine.
