Eric Lamela the young Argentinean starlet is set to leave River Plate in order to pursue his Football career in Europe. River plate who have seen them relegated from the first tier of Argentinean football will now see their star attacking midfielder go away this transfer season. Lamela who was distraught by the club’s relegation was thought to be moving outside Argentina by many due to paucity of funds at the club .With competition between the two Italian giants Inter Milan and AS Roma namely for the teenager’s signature Roma have steered ahead to win the battle moreover Inter were happy to secure Lamela’s countrymen Ricky Alvarez . Lamela who has been labeled by many as the next big thing of Argentinean football will move to Rome on a deal that will see River Plate 12 million Euros richer where as the 19 year old will be given a hefty annual wage amounting to 1.5 million per year .
