Former Italy international Ravanelli takes charge at Ajaccio
Former Italian international striker Fabrizio Ravanelli is the new manager of French first division club Ajaccio, the club announced on its website Saturday.
Ravanelli, 44, whose playing career took him from Perugia to Juventus and from Middlesbrough to Dundee via Lazio, succeeds Albert Emon, who was sacked at the end of last month after a disappointing season which saw the club battle relegation.
In charge of the Juventus academy for the past two years, Ravanelli has signed a two-year contract, the club revealed.
