Fulham 0-3 Manchester United: Manchester United player ratings | Premier League 2018-19
Paul Pogba's brace and a brilliant Antony Martial goal at the Craven Cottage has pushed Manchester United back to top four for the first time since August. Manchester United moved into the top four of the league with a magnificent display at the Craven Cottage over Ranieri's Fulham.
Solskjaer freshened things up ahead of the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. He made six changes to his side for Fulham clash with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard on the bench. Lukaku started up front, alongside Mata and Martial.
David De Gea - 7/10
David De Gea perhaps did not need to be as attentive as he was at the Wembley against Spurs but he was consistently reliable throughout the game and alert when needed. Fulham had a few shots on target and De Gea was up to it.
Diego Dalot - 6/10
The Portuguese right-back was called in place of Ashley Young and he did not have much of a trouble. He fared well against Babel on the right and moved swiftly from defense to attack.
Chris Smalling - 6/10
The English international returned to the playing eleven for the first time since December as Solskjaer rung in changes. He was indecisive on occasions but managed to keep a clean sheet.
Phil Jones - 7.5/10
Phil Jones had a good game at Craven Cottage. He was absolutely attentive in getting first to the balls and physically thrived against the Serbian forward. It seems like he is set out to prove several fans wrong after signing the extension.
Luke Shaw - 6/10
Started slow but got into a groove as the game progressed. He was good in the second half and his passing was very tidy. He fit in well to compliment his defense perfectly and also offered a thing or two going forward.
Nemanja Matic - 6.5/10
Matic was composed and had a good game against Fulham. His timely interventions were necessary and he allowed Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba to play with freedom. Solid display from the midfielder.
Ander Herrera - 7.5/10
There's been a supreme sense of delight with Ander Herrera ever since Ole's reign began and today, the midfielder packed another bright performance. He went ahead cleverly and added a lot of passing to his game with neatness and he helped out Matic whenever it was needed. A great outing for the Spaniard.
Paul Pogba - 8.5/10
When Solskjaer said he would build the team around Pogba, he meant it and today we exactly saw the reasoning behind it. Pogba's magnificent left-foot finish caught Rico off for the first goal and he combined well with Martial throughout the game. His penalty was a cherry on top of the cake as he signed off with a complete performance.
Anthony Martial - 8/10
Martial was brilliant on the night and scored a brilliant solo goal to put United 2-0 ahead. His dribbling troubled Denis Odoi throughout the game and his combination with Paul Pogba was surreal. He was withdrawn early with PSG lurking just around.
Juan Mata - 5.5/10
Juan Mata was relied upon today for his intelligence and sharpness and he showed bits off it during the game. It was mediocre but his passing and attacking from the right was sufficient enough. He could do much more better but it was enough for today.
Romelu Lukaku - 5.5/10
His runs looked a bit lazy but his hold-up play and the use of his physique were some of the positives he can take from today. He has to do a lot more to challenge Rashford for the starting place.
Substitutions
Alexis Sanchez - 5/10
Missed a glorious chance after pouncing on a Fulham error but otherwise, he looked sharp and his link-up play looked like it has improved considerably.
Scott McTominay - 5/10
Came in to seal the game and he did the job. Should have got on to the score sheet.
Eric Bailly - N/A
