Fulham is the perfect club for me: Fulham owner Shahid Khan

Billionaire Shahid Khan, the new owner of the EPL club Fulham, has claimed that the club is perfect for him. “It’s a very special place. This is the perfect club for me at a perfect time. It’s the passing of the baton, taking it to the next level,” said Khan. Khan, who is originally from Pakistan, currently lives in the US. He also owns the NFL side Jacksonville Jaguars.

Talking about the two clubs he owns, Khan said, “These are true distinct clubs that will operate differently and independently, but there’s a huge amount of synergy.” Khan, however refused to divulge the details about the deal. He said “That is highly confidential.”

He also heaped praises on the former owner of the club, Al Fayed. “I think it [what Fayed has done for the club] is incredible. The man rescued Fulham had a great vision, which he has shared with me. I think it’s very very important to all the Fulham fans,” Khan said about Fayed’s achievements.
