Fulham have signed 18-year-old Ange-Freddy Plumain on a free transfer, after he failed to agree a new contract with former side RC Lens.

Plumain is a French youth International having represented his nation at under-16 level. On 5 October 2012, he made his professional debut appearing as a substitute in a 1–0 victory over Niort.

The midfielder signed a three-year-deal, and has the option for longer should he wish to remain at Craven Cottage.

He shall join Symons’ Development squad for the new 2013/14 Barclays Under-21 Premier League season.

“The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ange-Freddy Plumain on a contract until 30th June 2016, with an option to extend for another year.”, their official website stated.

Elsewhere, Jol has already completed the signings of Fernando Amorebieta, Derek Boateng and Maarten Stekelenburg this summer, while he has also admitted he is still looking for “one or two” new signings before the season commences, as he looks to strengthen the squad and improve on what was a largely disappointing end to last season.
