Fulham strike new kit deal with Adidas

London based football club Fulham, has agreed to a new long-term kit deal with sports giants Adidas, which will replace Kappa as the club’s official kit supplier come the start of next season.

The deal marks Fulham’s third spell with the German sportswear. Previously, Adidas supplied kits for the Cottagers’ between 1977-81 and 1997-2003.

The exact details of the contract with Adidas is not revealed. However, Kappa was reportedly paying Fulham US$2 million-a-year.

Fulham chief executive Alistair Mackintosh said: “Adidas has a fantastic football heritage and tradition and I know that we will work well together. The synergy between the two organisations has led to a partnership that promises both brands a platform on which to achieve success.”

Adidas senior manager commercial clubs, Steve Holland, added: “Fulham is a very welcome partner to Adidas’ strong portfolio of football clubs both globally and in the UK. We share a successful history together and look forward to an exciting, long and rewarding future partnership.”

Adidas is also the official kit supplier for West Ham United and Chelsea in the Premier League.
