Rumour: Fulham keen to sign West Ham prodigy Ravel Morrison
Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen is keen to rejoin with former team youngster Ravel Morrsion. The 20-year-old England U21 international had joined West Ham United from Manchester United in 2012.
According to Daily Mail, Fulham is considering a bid for Ravel Morrison in the January window but will face a battle to persuade him to leave West Ham. The English midfielder has 18 months left on his contract and West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has already expressed his concern over the bids that could make the 20-year-old leave the Hammers.
Manchester United have also been linked with Ravel Morrison but boss David Moyes is unsure about bidding for the troubled youngster.
The former United coach Rene Meulensteen wants to sign Ravel Morrison for a deal of around 6 million pounds in the winter transfer window as Fulham lock horns with West Ham on New Year’s Day and Ravel is expected to be sidelined due to a groin injury.
Fulham currently stand in 18th position after a 6-0 loss to Hull City on Saturday and Rene Meuelnsteen would look forward to strengthening his Fulham squad with addition of new players to avoid relegation.
