Gareth Bale says Barcelona's 'MSN' are 'world class' ahead of El Clasico
Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale, has come out praising his immediate opponents Barcelona ahead of their El Clasico on Saturday night. The second and possibly final 'El Clasico' of the 2015 – 2016 season will take place with the stakes high as ever with the Catalans 10 points ahead of Real Madrid.
The Welshman, however, is sure his side will give it their all and ensure they try to win the tie as much as possible. Earlier this season, Barcelona thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 at the Bernabeu and will look to do the double against their arch-rivals as they continue to struggle in the race for another Liga BBVA title.
Speaking to the press after his duties for Wales in the international break, Gareth Bale says Real Madrid's 'BBC' can be as good as Barcelona's 'MSN' on their day and can wreck havoc against the best of defenses.
"We have a great relationship on the pitch, we play very well together and it's not for us to judge if we are the best. I'm sure the media and other people will have their opinions but all we can do is go on the pitch, try to score goals, help the team and make the Madrid fans happy," he said.
And when asked about his rivals, MSN, he said, "They are obviously great players, world-class players and they are doing very well at the moment. We know all about them and they know all about us. Come Saturday it will be a great game, I'm sure it will be one for everybody to enjoy and we'll try to make it as exciting as we can."
While MSN have led Barcelona to what looks like another La Liga triumph, BBC have been terribly inconsistent with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale injured for a lot of the season. Cristiano Ronaldo has been the only one who has lived up to the name but against Barcelona, with all of them fit, will they finally show the world what they're capable of?
