Hammers: To hold on to Andy Carroll?
With Andy Carroll‘s loan spell with West Ham drawing to a close, teammate Joe Cole has stated his belief that the club will look to sign him permanently.
The Englishman was sent to the London outfit for the season in August on the back of a disappointing maiden campaign with Liverpool following his £35 million move from Newcastle.
And with the 24-year-old sitting as joint top scorer in the current Hammers squad, veteran Cole thinks that management will endeavor to secure his services on an enduring basis.
“West Ham will definitely try to keep him at Upton Park,” Cole told TalkSport.
“I think all the boys want him to stay at West Ham. He’s (his own) man, though, and he has his own agenda.”
Carroll has netted seven times in 22 Premier League appearances this season.
