Harry Kane praises Virat Kohli on Twitter after his century for RCB

Kane praised Virat Kohli

Harry Kane took to twitter and praised Virat Kohli’s performance as the marvellous batsman once again lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 7 wicket victory against the Rising Pune Supergiants in this year’s Indian Premier League.

Kohli has earned a reputation of being one of the best batsmen in the world, especially when the pressure is on and his side has to chase a mammoth total. This was the case once again as the right-hander scored a well-paced hundred to help Bangalore chase down a score of 192.

Kane and Kohli share a wonderful relationship on social media and the two regularly exchange words of praise when one or the other are playing. Kane is a big fan of cricket and Virat Kohli as well.

Here is what Kane tweeted after the game:

The English top scorer had previously hailed the batsman during the T20 World Cup. Kohli produced another run chase masterclass against the Australians during a high-pressure game in the competition.

He scored 82 of 51 balls to take India to the next stage of the competition. The run-machine was once again in full swing as the RPS bowlers felt the full force of his mesmerising hitting.

This is what Harry Kane tweeted during the World Cup:

Harry Kane has had another productive season with Tottenham Hotspur and is currently leading the scoring charts in the Premier League. But unfortunately, for the striker, he could not inspire his team to the title.

Leicester City’s draw last weekend against Manchester United meant Tottenham had to win their game against Chelsea. After taking a 2-0 lead to halftime, the Lilywhites couldn’t hold on to their lead as Eden Hazard’s 83rd-minute equalizer ended Spurs’ title hopes.

But there is a small consolation for the North Londoners as they are set to finish above their bitter rivals Arsenal after a long time.
