Chelsea v Arsenal - UEFA Europa League Final

Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard received a perfect sendoff game as Chelsea ran riot on Arsenal in UEFA Europa League final. The Belgian in his final game for the Blues won the Europa League in some fashion as they battered Arsenal 4-1. He is poised to join Real Madrid in the upcoming week and he did make his final game for the Blues memorable.

The 28-year-old put the Gunners defense to sword as he scored twice and set up one goal in the rout. Hazard scored Chelsea's third goal from the spot and put the game to bed with his second after exchanging a string of passes with Olivier Giroud.

The former Lille player implied that winning the Europa League was his priority and it would be a disaster if Chelsea do not lift the title and he delivered in some fashion.

After a lackluster first half, the West Londoners opened their account with Giroud putting them ahead with a brilliant header early on in the second half. Arsenal were just accelerating their hunt for for an equalizer when the Belgian ace set Pedro up beautifully as he found the Spaniard in a swamp of Reds and Whites. Just when we thought Eden Hazard would leave without scoring in his final game, the Blues won a penalty which the Real Madrid-bound star converted with ease, sending Petr Cech the wrong way.

To put an icing on the cake, Hazard scored again after a string of well worked passes with the French international, Olivier Giroud.

The association Hazard had with Chelsea is on brink of ending after 7 years since he came on from Lille for £32m. After 352 appearances for the Blues and registered his name on the score sheet 110 times including the two goals he scored last night in Baku, it looks like his time at the English club is up.

After the game he suggested that it may be a goodbye as he is looking for a new challenge as he has fulfilled his dream of playing in the Premier League and conquering it.

Out of all ways and out of all the Premier Leagues and FA Cups won, this was the best possible way he could have said his goodbyes to his only home in England.
