Heldt extends contract with German side Schalke
Berlin, Sep 9 – Schalke director of sport and communication Horst Heldt has extended his running contract until 2016, the club said on its official homepage.
Although the final signatures have not been made yet, the “Royal Blues” announced the contract extension of Heldt for another three years, reports Xinhua.
Heldt and Schalke supervisory board chairman Clemens Toennies agreed on a three-year deal by handshake.
He joined from Bundesliga rival Stuttgart in 2010 to sign a three-year deal that will expire in summer of 2013.
“We trust on continuity in this important personal matter. He is doing an outstanding job for the club,” Toennies said Saturday.
Schalke 04 sit currently in fourth position of the Bundesliga standings.
