Higuain is the kind of player that Juventus are lacking, says Fabrizio Ravanelli
Fabrizio Ravanelli has claimed that Gonzalo Higuain is the kind of player which the current Juventus side are lacking, and he would be the perfect signing for Juventus.
Ravanelli, who was recently appointed coach of Ligue 1 side Ajaccio, has won five titles with Juventus, including a Serie A championship in 1995 and a Champions League title in 1996.
Higuain has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus after the striker confirmed that he would be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Ravanell told Calcio Estero: “The Argentine is a player I like a lot, who knows how to score goals, maybe he’s that kind of striker that Juventus were lacking in certain matches [this season]. [He] could be instrumental in achieving the high levels to which the team aspires and that the fans want us to reach in Europe as well.”
Gonzalo Higuain scored 16 goals for Real Madrid last season and Real Madrid would be expecting a fee around £20m for the striker.
