Hilarious trolls and memes of Catinho

Last Wednesday, a Twitter user (@OfficialSkinny1) sent out a tweet with the photo of a cat standing on hind legs with the caption “Why does this cat look like he just hit the cleanest freekick of the season ”. Little did he know that it would go viral. It’s so far got 24,000 ‘retweets’ and 29,000 ‘likes’.

For a person who has just over 1500 followers, it would have been unbearable to see all those notifications on the phone every second but that one tweet has lead to a new trend on twitter – Catinho.

There is no proper confirmation of where the word ‘Catinho’ came from but because of the resemblance with Brazilian midfielder, Coutinho, it’s very likely that it was started by a Liverpool player.

Photoshoppers around the world have taken the cat out of the image and added it to various iconic football photos. The outcome is absolutely hilarious!
