Europa League: How Arsenal might line up against CSKA Moscow
Arsenal will host CSKA Moscow in Europa League quarterfinals this Thursday. The Gunners are more than ten points adrift Tottenham who sit fourth in the Premier League table, so the Nort Londoners need to win the Europa League if they are to play in the Champions League next season.
Although Arsenal have drawn favourable opposition, the English team should not belittle their opponents who stunned Lyon to advance to the quarterfinals. The Gunners could be without Petr Cech as he recovers from his groin injury. There are doubts over the fitness of Danny Welbeck and Alexandre Lacazette, but the latter is highly expected to start after facing Crystal Palace this past weekend.
Goalkeeper: David Ospina
The Colombian made his first Premier League start of the season on Sunday afternoon. Ospina looked sharp in goal despite the notable mistake he made while playing against France while on international duty the week before.
The goalkeeper showed little hesitation when coming out to collect crosses and stayed alert throughout. Having been selected for all the Europa League competitions thus far, Ospina is set to once again guard the goal.
