''I am the bad cop'' - Messi jokes about his parenting style as he picks up his Golden Boot award
Barcelona star Lionel Messi was presented with his sixth Golden Boot award on Wednesday after scoring 36 goals for the Catalan side in the last season, better than anyone else in the European top divisions.
The Argentinian beat PSG forward Kylian Mbappe by three goals and became the first player ever to claim the award for three years in a row.
During the ceremomy, which was attended by Messi's wife Antonella Roccuzzo and their two kids Thiago and Mateo, the Argentinian joked about his parenting skills.
"In general I am the bad cop. I am the one who tells them off the more. Sometimes a bit too much. But very often they deserve it" he said.
