Ancelotti was seen walking towards Flick in the dying embers of the match and wagging his finger in the direction of the German manager.

However, in the 88th minute of the game, tensions rose up between both sides as Ancelotti was seen scolding Flick while the later tried to pacify him. Ancelotti revealed after the match that his rage was meant for one of Flick’s assistants. The Real Madrid boss said (via Fabrizio Romano on X):

“What happened with Hansi Flick? No problem with him… but one of his assistants did not behave like a gentleman in celebrations. I told him that and Flick agreed."
