“I want to be East Bengal’s coach for 60 months” - Trevor James Morgan
Last year it did not happen with Trevor James Morgan. Despite of going into the 33rd Federation Cup final, East Bengal lost to Salgaocar. 27 months passed since he got the job to handle one of the oldest teams in Indian Football, East Bengal. Like other coaches he did not like to take pressure before matches, but as far as the 34th Federation Cup Final is concerned, rumour spread that for the first time East Bengal’s British coach felt the pressure of the final match. That’s why after beating Dempo SC on Sunday, he must be the most relieved man in the East Bengal dug-out.

Right now coach Morgan want to give rest to the players. Talking about the up-coming I-League he told, “We won the Fed cup…now we have to concentrate on the I-league”.
One of the goal-scorer for East Bengal in the final, Manandeep Singh praised for the coach. “I am very much grateful to our coach…he kept faith on me and I think I did not let him down”.
