Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent would like to see him in the English Premier League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic happens to be the highest goalscorer in the French first division

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 34 years old now and his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends at the end of this season. Mino Raiola, his agent believes that it is the ideal time for Zlatan to move to the English Premier League.

Though the Swedish international’s term with the French club is coming to an end, there has been no news about any contract renewals, which has raised suggestions about his possible move to either the Serie A side, AC Milan or to Major League Soccer in the United States. Ibrahimovic had himself stated earlier that he is also open to a move to Qatar. Raiola now is of the opinion that a spell in the English Premier League would add to the striker’s experience. He also thinks that Zlatan has the perfect built and guile to be successful at one of the English clubs.

In an interview given to Sky Sports News Raiola said, "I would like to see him in the Premier League.

"I think it's a game that is made for him with his strength. his ability, his technique, the stadiums with fantastic atmosphere and how football is lived.

"It's difficult now because for the first time in his life he wants to be a free agent so that he can look around and have a feeling day by day what he wants to do.

"There are a lot of projects on our table but he has not decided yet.

"Can he go to England? In theory yes he can because he will be a free agent and for sure there are some clubs always interested in him. What we will do at the end, I really don't know."

Zlatan has himself, however, ruled out a move away from Parc des Princes before his contract expires, thus nullifying all speculations of a January transfer.

"He will definitely stay with Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season,” said Raiola.

"He wants to be with them, they want to be with him. We have a very strong relationship with the club. He will not leave in January."

Zlatan joined PSG on the 17th of July, 2012 from AC Milan. With time, he has gone on to prove that he belongs to the league of the best strikers in world football today. Zlatan scored twice in PSG’s 3-0 victory over OGC Nice on December 2015 and set the record as the highest goalscorer in the French first division. This record was earlier held by Mustapha Dahleb.
