In England people are simply impressed with FC Bayern Munich
German treble winners FC Bayern Munich have build quite a reputation here in England over the last few months, which I once more realised when talking to football people while I am here in London.
German football’s reputation in England was never better with the English here having high regards for the Bundesliga and the German national team, which isn’t natural due to the history that these two nations have had.
But winning the UEFA Champions League at Wembley, right next to where I am writing this article at this moment; to getting Pep Guardiola to sign for FC Bayern and the way Bayern Munich demolished Manchester City last week away at the Etihad Stadium in the UEFA Champions League has not only raised the profile of German football, but has given it a new set of fans and admirers.
Many here in England see Bayern Munich as the role model football club with profits for over 20 years, a sound youth development system which produces young talent, a top class self-owned home venue in the Allianz Arena, money to spend on top players whenever needed besides a bank balance which no other club has in the world of football.
These are good reasons why Bayern Munich are currently so successful on the football pitch!
