Kerala's amazing run in the Santosh Trophy has caught the Indian football fraternity's attention as they defeated 32-time champions and eternal favourites West Bengal in a thrilling final.

With so many talented Indian players on show, a number clubs had sent their scouts to the stands to identify the ones they could possibly sign in the future. One particular player seems to have incited interest from a number of these clubs.

One of the biggest success stories to have come out of the Kerala team this season's Santosh Trophy is Jithin MS. The young midfielder impressed one and all during the Santosh Trophy, and even went on to score the first goal in the final against West Bengal.

These performances have now incited interest from Kerala Blasters, who have launched an inquiry into the possibility of signing the player. Along with Blasters, ATK and East Bengal have also shown their interest in Jithin, Sportskeeda has learnt.

All the three sides are looking to rebuild their squad ahead of the next season, after a disappointing campaign this time round.

Creating chances has been an issue for the teams. While Kerala Blasters finished a disappointing sixth, two-time ISL champions ATK ended up second from bottom in the ISL. Meanwhile, East Bengal failed to live up to the expectations in their I-League title race, which was eventually won by Minerva Punjab.

Currently, all the three teams are participating in the inaugural season of the Super Cup. While Kerala Blasters and ATK had qualified for the cup competition directly, ATK had to play the qualifiers, where they won against Chennai City FC. They are set to play FC Goa on Monday.

Meanwhile, East Bengal and Kerala Blasters are preparing for their Round of 16 matches against Mumbai City FC and NEROCA FC, on April 5 and 6, respectively.
