Inter sign Porto's Rolando on loan

Inter confirmed the loan signing of Portuguese international central defender Rolando Jorge Pires da Fonseca from Porto after completing a medical at the club.

A statement on Inter’s website read that the player “is ready to join the squad after their American tour. Inter and the fans give him a warm welcome.”

The 27-year-old spent the previous season on loan at Napoli, under Coach Walter Mazzarri’s, but only managed to make nine appearances including seven in the Serie A and two in the Europa League.

Inter have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
