Date: 2nd April, 2013. Venue: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
It seemed as if this day, the world shrunk into a stadium, and clock of was the center of gravity. Every eyeball was shuttling quickly between the pitch and ticking time. For those in yellow and black colors, they could smell the heavenly taste of victory. But for those in Royal Whites, it was ebbing away. It would be unfair to pick one after the thrilling encounter, but eventually there is only one winner.
Although Borussia Dortmund advanced to the last stage of the competiton, but they couldn’t cope up with Bayern Munich in an all German final of UEFA Champions league. But for Madrid, it was much worst. This gang’s mastermind Jose Mourinho decided to chuck Los Blancos and rejoined his godfather like club (Chelsea). With no silverware in hand, no mastermind and irritated with the demands and clashes of the troops; Florentino Perez was determined to recreate the team of his dream, from to bottom.
For many years, Real Madrid has been home of Argentine prodigies. Di Stefano, Juan Carlos Tourino, Garay, Di Maria are just some of them. Gonzalo Higuain is one of these. His dribbling, accuracy and the “Argentine striker’s instincts” have frequently helped his side to come up with some memorable victories. But when club and Gonzalo decided to draw curtain over his tenure in Spain, it gave sleepless nights not only to RMCF, but also the other clubs.

It is pretty obvious, since Los Blancos are already linked with him for a long time. So let us dig out reasons who might convince that he can be a successful in the Spanish capital-
Similar formation & role
If one looks at the structure of the either teams, it is easy to catch that they both prefer to play with a similar formation. So with 4-2-3-1 as the most preferred arrangement by the managers, Lewandowski will find himself comfortable in Madrid’s mould. As he spearheads the BvB’s attack, he will not have to adjust himself in a different role in Spain nor has to compete with another forward on the pitch.
Philosophical Equivalence
Adding to the template, there is the tendency and tempo of either teams sides which is welcoming for Robert. With a highly paced passing and playing its card on the break, it can be said that tactics of the German and Spanish side are synonymous.
To feed the forward back in Germany, Gundogan always manages to deliver some juicy long balls for him to blast it past the keeper. But in La Liga, he could be blessed with the service and expertise of Xabi Alonso. While Khedira could easily replace Sven Bender, Di Maria and Ozil will ensure that he will not miss Mario Gotze and Marco Reus.
