ISL 2017: Bengaluru FC's away kit for new season disclosed
Bengaluru FC are making the right kind noises on and off the field this season. After a resounding win over Mumbai City in their first ever ISL game, the Bengaluru stars were then busy in the photoshoot for the club's away kit launch. Sunil Chhetri posted a photo on his Instagram story of Bengaluru FC's new away armour, which is set to be a huge hit among the supporters.
The Blues have gone for a white and red ensemble as their away colours. The kit is predominantly white with red being present on the shoulders and on the sides of the shirt and shorts. Puma, the makers of the kit have not overcomplicated the jersey and have kept it simple which may tempt the fan base to get their hands on the new away kit.
Last month, Bengaluru FC had revealed their home kit with blue and white as the only colours on the shirt. The Blues made some changes on their new home kit with the red line on the shoulder being taken off to make the kit majorly blue in colour. The red colour which was taken off the home kit seems to be now brought in use for the away jersey.
The home kit featured white lines in the middle which the club explained that the lines signify the path drawn to reach the stars. The home kit was highly appreciated by many as the promotional video made by the club for the kit launch crossed 58k views in just over 12 hours.
Explaining the lines in the middle of the home jersey, the club's statement read, "We go looking for stars and to collect them one must draw the lines. It is difficult at first but soon we get good at it. We follow the path laid by the ancestors, turning them into something else. For whatever we think is written, is only just a beginning of a story of our lives. And all these bridges and all these lines and all the stars in the universe, wait patiently for they are ours to write.”
Bengaluru FC's first away game is on November 30 against FC Goa at the Fatorda Stadium where the away kit is expected to be worn by the Blues for the first time this season.
