ISL 2017: Best strikers of Round 7
The seventh week of ISL 2017 has come to an end and we have witnessed some superb performances in the four games that were played.
In this article, we look at five strikers whose performances were worthy of a praise.
Jeje Lalpekhlua
Jeje converted the penalty against Jamshedpur FC to snatch three crucial points for his team. The 26-year-old has scored four goals in his last three starts highlighting his poacher instincts and awareness in the box with Chennaiyin FC winning both of those matches. The highest Indian goalscorer in ISL is Chennaiyin FC’s top scorer this season and has already surpassed his last season’s tally. Jeje worked hard closing down defenders, he also held the ball well allowing teammates to join the attack. Jeje was also heavily involved in the move that helped Chennaiyin FC win the penalty.
