ISL 2017, Match 10: ATK vs FC Pune City, Player Ratings

FC Pune City produced a thoroughly dominating performance as they registered a well-deserved 4-1 victory over ATK in Sunday's first ISL encounter.

The home side never got going and the visitors made most of it. Every single player for Pune shone in what was a complete team effort from the men in orange. With this victory, Pune registered only their 4th ever away win in the ISL. Here are the player ratings.

Debjit 4/10 - A lot was expected from ATK's premier shot-stopper. However, he failed to command his area and was caught napping during Pune's second goal. Majumder looked out of sorts tonight.

Prabir Das 4/10 - Prabir Das had his positioning all wrong tonight. Far too often he ventured forward without paying heed to Pune's attacking threat. As a result, he was caught chasing the game on multiple occasions.

Montel 5/10 - For all his experience, Montel failed to marshal his troops from the back. He sat too deep and refused to venture out and impose himself.

Thorpe 4/10 - His pedestrian approach led to Pune's opening goal. As a centre-half, Thorpe tried to be too clever and it came back to haunt him. He failed to impose himself on the game.

Pereira 3/10 - Like his fellow full-back Das, Keegan Pereira too was guilty of forgetting his defensive duties as a left back. In his attempt to help the team offensively, he was picked apart by Pune in his own half.

Bipin 9/10 - The former Shillong Lajong winger was proactive in his first outing. He stuck to the wings and did well to whip in crosses by the bucket loads. The 22-year-old scored a magical long-range free kick to level the proceedings.

Conor Thomas 3/10 - As the defensive midfielder, Conor Thomas was an invisible figure tonight. His job was to give Lyngdoh the freedom but instead, he added further pressure on his teammate by failing to close down the spaces.

Lyngdoh 5/10 - ATK's midfield linchpin was not his usual composed self. He lost the midfield battle and as a result, his side found it difficult to control the match.

Zequinha 6/10 - The Portuguese played as a wide midfielder and was a refreshing presence in the middle of the park. He took the game to Pune and made things happen for his side. Zequinha wasn't afraid to run at Pune's defenders with intent.

Hitesh 5/10 - The youngster could not replicate his first match form. Hitesh was invisible and found it difficult to combine with his teammates.

Kuqi 6/10 - The Finnish forward didn't have much to work with. However, he did run the yards and attempted to press Pune's defenders high up the pitch. Kuqi worked hard and never had his head down, despite the scarcity of opportunities.

Substitutes

Robin Singh 6/10 - Robin came on from the bench and made an instant impact. He was heavily involved in ATK's attack and made a nuisance of himself in the opposition box.

Ronald 3/10 - Came on for Bipin late on but failed to create the desired impact.

Nongrum 3/10 - The midfielder made a late entry and did nothing to stand out.
