FC Goa hosted Kerala Blasters in what could be dubbed as the ‘Holiday Derby’ given the preference both the places enjoy as holiday destinations in India.
Kerala played their first away game of ISL 2017 against FC Goa, and all eyes were on the Men in Yellow, to see whether they can get out of their goalscoring rut.
The Match started at a lightning pace with Kerala taking the lead as early as the 7th minute but it was short-lived. FC Goa equalised in the 9th minute and took the lead in the 18th minute only to see their lead being equalised by Jackichand Singh in the 33rd minute.

FC Goa won the game 5-2, to move level on points with league leaders Bengaluru FC.
Let's take a look at the player ratings of today’s game
FC Goa
Laxmikant Kattimani (5.5): Laxmikant Kattimani is having a horrible season. Even though Goa had a brilliant game Laxmikant had another night to forget as he looked shaky during the match, and could have done tons better specially during the first goal.
Narayan Das (7): Narayan had a good game and looked good while attacking but was a bit shaky while defending. He also had an assist to his name.
Bruno Pinheiro(6): Bruno didn’t have the best of the first half’s, he sort of made up in the second half but he looked way below par today.
Seriton Fernandes(6): Seriton too didn’t have the best of games. Especially in the first half where he looked out of place a couple of times
Mohammad Ali (6.5): He looked a bit shaky in the first half but made up in the second half by putting in a great performance.
Manuel Lanzarote(9): Lanzarote scored a brace and set up another one. He had a brilliant game and the likes of Jhingan and Lekic-Pesic were left stranded trying to check Lanzarote.
Ahmed Jahouh(8.5): Jahouh was probably the best midfielder for Goa, he performed his defensive duties with near perfection and was sublime in attack. He also set up one of Coro goals. He impressed all with his deft touches and flicks.
Brandon Fernandes (7): Brandon worked his heart out. He tried his best to track back and help Mohammed Ali too, and also had a superb assist to his name.
Edu Bedia (6.5): Edu had a quiet game of sorts and he did his job in the middle of park without much fuss. He also helped Goa win a lot of second balls
Mandar Rao Desai (6): Mandar probably had one of the quietest games this season. He was brilliantly kept in check by Rino.
Ferran Corominas (10): Well Coro’s performance deserves no less than a perfect 10. Scoring the fastest ISL hattrick in history, as scoring a hattrick within a span of 7 minutes doesn't happen every day.
