ISL 2017 is just three days away and all of the teams are involved in their final minute preparations. Over the last two weeks, ISL teams have launched their home and away kit for the upcoming campaign, with NorthEast United FC. The Highlanders launched their new kit on social media platform, Facebook with the fans of the club giving their feedback on the club's new armour.

The Guwahati-based club has gone for a full retro look with their new home kit as they decided to go with a full white ensemble for the new season. The kit and the shorts are bright white in colour with just the logo of the club and the kit sponsors being featured on the shirt.

Surprisingly, there is no shirt sponsor at the centre of the shirt, which may be liked by a few as it gives the kit a more traditional feel. But the club's inability to attract a big sponsor for the shirt can also be reflected upon. Judging by the comments on social media, some people have not taken a liking to the new kit, whereas some have been impressed by the simplicity of it all.

Meanwhile, NorthEast United FC have had a successful pre-season, where the ISL club travelled to Turkey and played against Iraqi clubs and Turkish giants, Antalyaspor. In Turkey, the Highlanders won one, drew three and lost two against some of their toughest opponents to date.

Manager Joao de Deus who replaced Nelo Vingada is happy with the preparations of his squad and believes that the setup is perfect for North East United FC to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in their history. The Highlanders begin their campaign on November 18 in a home game against Jamshedpur FC.
