Indian Super League had attracted several big names, who have helped to bring in big crowds. These stars from around the world of football have had enough quality in them, to attract lucrative offers from all over the globe. However, they decided to pick India, over the other countries, as they signed for their respective ISL clubs.

4) Gregory Nelson
Chennaiyin FC's Dutch recruit Gregory Nelson in the 2017/18 season of the ISL side rejected several offers from Europe to play in India's most popular football league.
The 29-year-old had stints in AZ Alkmaar, RBC Roosendaal, CSKA Sofia Metalurh Donetsk, Botev Plovdiv, Kaisar and Al-Muharraq before landing in India.
Nelson has revealed that he had several offers from Europe but courtesy Hans Mulder's recommendation of coming to India, he penned the deal with Chennaiyin FC.
He had a sparkling start to his campaign in India, as he impressed everyone in his appearance against NorthEast United in a 3-0 win.
